A successful start in the day begins with a hefty breakfast. The Grünbacherhof in Chienes is a traditional South Tyrolean farm with cattle ranching and a lot of farm products are home-made. If you decide to spend your holiday in an apartment at the Grünbacherhof, you can prepare your own breakfast in the accommodation or you can have access to our rich and hefty morning service in our Bauernstube. We offer you a lot of fresh farm products and home-made cooked desserts. During your farm holiday with breakfast you can enjoy vegetables end fruit from bio-fields, fresh eggs, milk from our cows, many types of fruit jams and tasty juices.
Bread service and fresh products
Your apartment at the Grünbacherhof in Chienes has got a fully equipped kitchen with numerous household appliances at your disposal. Obviously you can also prepare and enjoy your breakfast directly in the accommodation, in a familiar atmosphere. In this case we can offer you, upon request, a farm bread service in the morning for crispy bread. You should not renounce to any fresh product. Besides fresh milk and eggs we can put at your disposal also home-made Apfelstrudel. So you can begin a new adventurous day in a good mood, during your farm holiday with breakfast at the Grünbacherhof.
We offer you our a rich breakfast in our farmhouse, which can also be used all- day, if required.
The following farm products are:
Fresh eggs, homemade curdchesse, fresh milk, various homemade fruit juices, jams and various herbal teas from the garden, sometimes self-baked bread, homemade apple sweets and various flour desserts.
In summer also fresh tomatoes, radishes, arugula, apples and pears from our farm garden.
The following products are:
Cheese, yoghurt, butter, cereals, teas, baker’s bread, honey, nutella, bacon and various sausages.
The following herbs can be found in our farm garden and in front of the apartments:
Chives, celery, parsley, rosemary, basil, marjoram, sage, dill, thyme, gypsy,
Garlic chives, lemon balm, lavender, nasturtium, peppermint, chamomile, mallow, king candle,
marigold, legwell, nettle and yarrow.
